API releases new pipeline standards to improve pipeline safety and environmental sustainability

The American Petroleum Institute (API) recently published the 22nd edition of API Std 1104, Welding of Pipelines and Related Accessories.  This important new global standard supports industry-wide concerted action to enhance environmental sustainability while meeting growing energy demand.
